After 20 years in the US Army and 21 years in Industry, I am several years into my third career as a full-time faculty member in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics under the College of Arts and Sciences at American University in Washington, DC.
I get to teach courses in the Bachelors and Masters degree data science programs and a Complex Problems seminar course called Big Data, Bias, and Justice for All for the AU Core. I also serve as an Associate Director of the Data Science Programs.
